This project showcases the creation of a high-end residential building **scale model**, specifically a detailed **sand table model**. The model emphasizes the overall presentation of the building layout, landscape atmosphere, and nighttime lighting effects. It achieves an accuracy exceeding 90%, making it the central visual carrier for project display and customer communication.

**Materials and Construction:**
Material selection prioritized “realistic texture and stable structure”. The main building body utilizes high-density ABS sheet and acrylic composite material, offering a balance between fine detail and structural integrity. Exterior facades are crafted from matte textured panels, meticulously restored through layered splicing to capture building lines and architectural layers.
The landscape area employs simulated grass combined with carefully arranged micro shrubs, trees, and flowers of varying heights. This layering of materials and colors creates a natural, vibrant green space. Road sections are fabricated from wear-resistant PVC sheet, precisely cut and shaped to replicate community road dimensions and direction. Clear, transparent acrylic forms guardrails and signage, ensuring visual transparency and clear information delivery.
**Production Process:**
The model’s creation followed a structured process: “base construction – architectural refinement – landscape creation – lighting integration”.
1. **Base Construction:** The sand table base was meticulously assembled by splicing and leveling boards to guarantee overall flatness.
2. **Architectural Refinement:** The main building structure was constructed using a blend of laser cutting and manual polishing, accurately replicating the building outline, balconies, and bay windows. Roof details underwent layered bonding and shaping to restore the complex layering and decorative elements of sloped roofs.
3. **Landscape Creation:** Manual planting techniques distributed greenery according to planned density. Handmade elements like leisure facilities, street lights, and signage were integrated, enriching the community’s depicted living scene. Road markings and other details were carefully drawn by hand to enhance realism.
4. **Lighting Integration:** Post-production coloring and lighting treatment are crucial. Buildings underwent multi-layer spray painting, primarily in beige and light gray. Color transition and separation techniques were used to faithfully reproduce the texture and light/shadow effects of the real structure.
The landscape area gained depth through manual blending and color overlay to achieve a natural sense of layering.
The lighting system incorporated miniature LED light strips and point light sources, strategically placed along building outlines, roads, and landscape features. This setup produces a soft, uniform nighttime lighting effect, significantly enhancing the atmosphere and visual impact.
**Detail Optimization:**
A final stage of detail optimization involved comprehensive polishing, joint repairs, and adjustments to the proportion relationship between greenery and buildings, ensuring overall harmony. The finished **scale model** masterfully integrates materials, craftsmanship, and lighting to fully present the community planning and architectural style. It effectively meets the demands of display and communication, earning high praise from clients.
