This scale model achieves a remarkable 90% fidelity at a 1:50 scale. The model focuses on presenting the complete production process layout, key equipment forms, and detailed operational scenes.

2. Material Selection for Precision and Durability

Our commitment to realism is reflected in the choice of materials for this industrial model:

  • Main Frame & Base: Constructed from solid wood panels for a sturdy, load-bearing foundation. The top surface is covered with blue acrylic panels to accurately simulate the factory floor, with yellow warning tape stickers delineating safe areas.
  • Equipment Production: Core machinery like cleaning machines, crushers, evaporative concentrators, and filling equipment are meticulously crafted from ABS plastic, featuring detailed features including simulated spray holes and observation windows made of transparent acrylic. The intricate pipeline system is formed by precisely bending 0.8mm diameter brass wire to replicate the actual material conveying path.
  • Scene Decoration: To enhance realism, simulated grass creates green spaces around the factory, complemented by miniature plastic trees (3-5cm tall). The scene includes 1:50 scale figures (dressed in blue workwear) and yellow forklift models, recreating the authentic production environment.

3. Production Process: Crafting the Fidelity

The creation of this scale model involves careful planning and execution:

  • (1) Base & Layout Planning: Using the client’s actual CAD drawings, we precisely mark equipment positioning lines on the solid wood base, ensuring the functional zones (cleaning, juicing, concentration, filling) mirror the real factory. The blue acrylic surface is cut to match the base size, with pre-pasted holes for equipment, and ground pipeline directions are marked with a black marker.
  • (2) Core Equipment Production:
    • Cleaning Machine: Modeled as a drum-shaped ABS plastic structure with simulated spray holes. Silver reflective stickers are adhered to the interior, and a small motor is installed externally for a subtle static rotation effect.
    • Crusher: Features a restored toothed blade structure using stacked gray ABS plates for stator/rotor parts, hand-carved details, and a blue conveyor belt model at the base.
    • Evaporative Concentrator: Depicts multiple layers of stacked stainless steel cylindrical tanks with a silver exhaust pipe on top. Blue liquid level markings on the tank sides simulate concentration process changes.
    • Filling Equipment: Includes a transparent acrylic filling head, a white plastic bottle model below, and a gray rubber strip conveyor belt with printed black anti-slip markings.
  • (3) Detail Processing:
    • Pipeline System: Brass wire is bent according to the actual routing, then spray-painted silver and wrapped with aluminum foil to simulate flange connections.
    • Identification System: Blue acrylic identification plates (1.5cm x 3cm) are laser-engraved with equipment names like “Multi-effect Evaporator” and “UHT Sterilizer” for easy reference.

4. Post-Processing and Coloring: Enhancing Realism

To achieve a lifelike appearance and highlight operational aspects:

  • Equipment Coloring: Main equipment receives a coat of silver matte self-adhesive paint; edges and corners are lightly sanded for a realistic metallic oxide texture. Specific equipment (e.g., mixing tanks – blue, filtration – gray) is color-coded based on function.
  • Scene Aging: Conveyor belts, equipment bases, and other surfaces are lightly brushed with dark gray paint to simulate long-term use stains. Acrylic ground surfaces are wiped with alcohol to create subtle scratches, enhancing realism.
  • Lighting Arrangement: Strategically placed micro LED beads (5V external power, customer-controlled) illuminate key nodes like concentrators and sterilizers, visible through acrylic windows, suggesting operational status.

5. Final Presentation Effect: A High-Fidelity Production Visualization

The finished scale model measures 2m x 1.2m, meticulously reproducing the 12-step process from raw material cleaning to finished product filling. The equipment layout is an exact replica of the client’s real factory. Features like metal-textured equipment, simulated pipeline connections, and detailed scene decorations allow viewers to intuitively grasp the production flow and equipment synergy, as if standing within a real factory.

The model rests on a dust-proof glass cover, and a nameplate on the side displays the project name and production date, adding both functional display and collectible value.
